This is what I wore today, I played on my iPad, worked out, and went to 7-11...I'm back in America, have been for a month now. School starts up in a week so I'll sure to be busy. I'm still vlogging everyday (youtube.com/theNadineAdventures) and I'm also filming videos for my other channel (youtube.com/nzerouki91) be sure to check them out. I will try to keep up with this. I do like putting up Outfits of the Days on here so I'm sure I can get back into the swing of things.
I've been accepted into my schools study abroad program in Manchester UK! I'll be in the UK for three months for the fall semester. I cannot wait to take that plane (although I have the biggest fear of flying) and get to Manchester. I will be vlogging my experience there. You'll be able to find the vlogs on my new youtube channel youtube.com/theNadineAdventures, vlogs will start two weeks before my departure day (I depart on September 10th). Hope you guys will watch my adventures!
So last night was my second year watching Fitz and the Tantrums in concert, and may I say it was AWESOME!
We got there around 4:45-5pm and I immediately settled for the front row by the stage. The first act was ZZ Ward (The chick with the fedora and guitar) She was amazing and her voice was amazeballs! After her set was over I decided to walk around a bit since setting up for the next act takes forever...while walking about I bought a ZZ Ward bag and CD and ran into the man of the hour Michael Fitzpatrick (Lead singer of Fitz and the Tantrums) I got to shake his hand and get a picture. He was so nice and very personable. After my little walk I was back in time for Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds (The chick with bangs and the horns section) They were remarkable! I have never seen a band with a headbanger harmonica player...there's a first time for every thing! Their songs were super catchy and when I got home I bought both of their albums. After their set there was yet another wait. I met a woman named Patty and her son who's a big Fitz and the Tantrums fan and a woman named Peggy. We talked until Fitz finally came on. The show was filled with energy, jumping, dancing cheering, clapping...I was doused with water along with the rest of the audience by Michael Fitzpatrick. We were treated to a first listen of their new song which will be on their new album (in October I think). We got an encore of 'Sweet Dreams are Made of This' and 'MoneyGrabber' and then it was over. Walking out of the harbor I passed the tour bus and got a high-five/handshake from Noelle Scaggs. I ended my night by going to bed with a hoarse throat and achy arms and legs, but it was soooo worth it!
Hopefully my next post will be about Grace Potter and the Nocturnals...Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
Last year I watch Fitz and the Tantrums and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals in concert. This year it's time for round two! Can't wait for some more awesome music and fun!
I'm proud to say that I will be spending St. Patrick's day 100% alcohol free! Instead, I will be doing Insanity and then watching season one of Nikita and youtube videos.
